Tom Pendergast achieved so much success that both critics and supporters called his organization The Machine. It bent the rules, corrupted convention, and turned Prohibition-Era Kansas City into the ultimate mash-up of art, sin and booze.
Tom’s Town presents The Machine series: daring one-off spirits showcasing the distillery’s ingenuity. Available exclusively at Tom’s Town for a limited time, The Machine will challenge, intrigue and delight drinkers of every stripe.
THE MACHINE NO. 1: ANTIQUE GIN
Tom’s Town Corruption Gin finished for at least six months in Pendergast’s Royal Gold Bourbon barrels. A robust and flavorful gin that takes on the best whiskey characteristics and aroma from the barrel.
THE MACHINE NO. 2: MALT WHISKEY
The second release in our Pendergast Machine series is a malt whiskey distilled from local brewery Torn Label's quadjillo beer. With a bright citrus, jasmine and vanilla bean nose, the palate is all pepper, cinnamon, honey, carmelized sugar and hops.
THE MACHINE NO. 3: NAVY-STRENGTH GIN
The third release in our Pendergast Machine series is a navy strength gin, 114 proof. Created in the London Dry style, this high-proof gin is juniper forward, with a Tom's Town twist. It's made to shine through event the most comple cockatils.
THE MACHINE NO. 4: WHITE PORT BOURBON
Our fourth release in the Machine series is a long-anticipated, incredible 7-year bourbon finished in California white port casks at Tom's Town. This is a truly one-of-a-kind spirit that is sure to beguile even the most seasoned bourbon drinkers!

Our fifth release in the Machine series features a brisk, clean, spicy flavor from hardy orange, dill, juniper, sage, fennnel, coriander and blue spruce tips from the Powell Gardens Heartland Harvest culinary gardens.
